It is with deep appreciation and mixed emotions that we announce the upcoming retirement of Barbara Malkowski, Senior Vice President of Marketing, effective February 6, 2026. For 22 years, Barbara has been a driving force behind Prime’s growth, shaping not only our brand presence but also the collaborative spirit that defines our organization today. Her leadership leaves a legacy of teamwork, innovation, and unwavering determination.
Barbara joined Prime on February 2, 2004, as the Chicago Office and Marketing Manager, where she immediately set out to strengthen and expand our producer customer base. She helped build and refine the distribution channel while developing a systematic direct‑marketing and lead‑generation framework that elevated Prime’s outreach capabilities.
In 2007, Barbara played a pivotal role in the launch of the XINSURANCE brand—contributing to its concept, design, content, systems, and digital presence. Her work helped bring Rick’s vision to life and laid the foundation for the brand’s continued success.
Throughout her career at Prime, Barbara led and inspired her team to execute countless events, promotions, conferences, and strategic initiatives that brought greater visibility to Prime and XINSURANCE. Her creativity, commitment, and ability to bring people together have left an indelible mark on every corner of the organization.
