Fireworks Insurance: A Critical Component of Amusement and Recreation Insurance Plans
Every occasion can be an occasion for fireworks, which means every occasion is also one for the right fireworks insurance to ensure the safety of your clients and your business. Large-scale firework displays such as those at community events and festivals can be a large liability due to the potential danger to attendees and property. Whether you’re a company that offers a wide array of entertainment and recreational services or you focus solely on fireworks displays, finding the right insurance coverage for your specific business is critical to keep your business lighting up the night sky for all of your clients’ celebrations.
Pyrotechnics and fireworks insurance cover a wide range of business entities within that specific market. Whether your company focuses on manufacturing, selling to consumers or as a wholesaler, or actually setting up and firing pyrotechnic displays at public or private events, you’ll want to make sure that you have coverage that fully protects you and your company in the event of damages or claims. There is no standardized fireworks insurance coverage plan due to variations of regulation in different regions, states, and even counties. If you have to hire a registered pyrotechnic expert, your plan will need compensation provisions; If you’re transporting your fireworks across state lines, you also need liability coverage related to transportation. Every firework company may need a unique coverage plan tailored specifically to their services, their location, and the degree to which they want to ensure the company, the employees, and their assets are fully protected.
