In order to write business with Prime, all producers must enter into a producer agreement outlining the terms of the relationship between the parties. If the producer has a surplus lines license, an agreement between Prime/IEBS is the appropriate form to use.
If the producer does not have a surplus lines license, an agreement with EIB (Prime’s in-house broker) is the appropriate form to use, unless you plan to use another surplus lines broker to place the business with Prime.
