Commercial Auto Liability
This manuscript policy provides third party liability coverage for bodily injury and property damage. The policy can optionally include coverage for physical damage to the insured’s vehicle. The policy will typically include a Per Person sub-limit and also sub-limits for Personal Injury Protection, Uninsured Motorist coverage and Underinsured Motorist coverage (depending on availability). Other optional coverages include coverage for non-owned hired autos, and excess automobile coverage. The policy includes an aggregate limit and a self-insured retention applicable to each claim.
Commercial Property
This manuscript policy provides coverage for physical loss of or damage to commercial property and building contents. The policy includes one of three “cause of loss” forms, which specify the named perils that, when they contribute to the loss, will be covered. The policy is subject to a deductible applicable to each claim.
A separate Builder’s Risk policy is also available. This manuscript policy covers losses to property that the Insured is constructing or servicing, and the equipment and materials used to service that property, including temporary supporting structures such as scaffolding. The policy may be optionally extended to include coverage for building materials and supplies owned by others that are in the Insured’s care, custody and control. The policy includes one of three “cause of loss” forms, which specify the named perils that, when they contribute to the loss, will be covered. The policy is subject to a deductible applicable to each claim.
A separate Jeweler’s Block policy is available. This manuscript policy includes coverage for the Insured’s jewelry stock against losses due to safe burglary or robbery. The Insured’s stock may include customer’s property in the Insured’s care, custody and control. Theft from vehicles and showcases is not covered under this policy. The Jeweler’s Block policy includes a requirement that the Insured maintain records of stock, sales, and property held for customers for three years after the policy’s coverage ends. The policy is subject to a deductible applicable to each claim.
All of Prime’s commercial property policies exclude loss due to theft. This coverage can be optionally included for an additional charge.
Inland Marine
This manuscript policy provides coverage for loss of or damage to property that is specifically scheduled on the policy. The policy does not provide coverage for the automobile or truck used to transport this property. The policy is subject to a deductible applicable to each claim.
A motor truck cargo policy is also available. This manuscript policy provides coverage for physical loss of or damage to cargo being transported, unloaded or loaded, so long as it is in the Insured’s care, custody and control. The cargo can not include forms of currency, documents, jewelry and similar valuable articles. The Insured must prepare a complete listing of items shipped and maintain a log of damage that occurred during shipment. The policy is subject to a deductible applicable to each claim.
An equipment floater policy is also available. This manuscript policy provides coverage for loss of or damage to equipment scheduled on the policy, when it is located at scheduled locations. The policy is subject to a deductible applicable to each claim.
All of Prime’s inland marine policies exclude loss due to theft. This coverage can be optionally included for an additional charge.
Commercial Liability
This manuscript policy provides coverage for bodily injury and property damage claims arising out of specified activities or operations. Certain activities and operations may have specific requirements that apply in only those circumstances. The policy includes an aggregate limit and a self-insured retention applicable to each claim. Products liability and completed operations liability are optionally available for an additional charge. Excess commercial liability coverage is also available.
A liquor liability policy is also available. This manuscript policy provides for payment of bodily injury and property damage claims, that the insured becomes liable for as a result of furnishing alcoholic beverages to a person over the legal drinking age. The policy requires that the Insured’s liquor license is in full effect. The policy includes an aggregate limit and a self-insured retention applicable to each claim.
Cosmetic Medicine
This manuscript policy provides coverage for payments the Insured becomes legally obligated to pay as the result of wrongful acts of the Insured. The wrongful act in question must result from activities specifically listed on the policy, such as chemical peels, micro-dermabrasion, herbal wraps, and so forth. The policy includes an aggregate limit and a self-insured retention applicable to each claim.
Garage Services
This manuscript policy provides coverage for accidents that occur as a part of the Insured’s Garage Operations. Garage Operations may include automobile or mobile equipment repair shops, towing operations, recovery and repossession operations, and automobile and/or equipment sales. Depending on the extent of the operations, the policy will typically be issued with one or more sub-limits of liability. Operations that include holding customer’s property will typically have a Garagekeepers Legal Liability sub-limit. Operations that include holding property for sale will typically have a Dealer’s Open Lot sub-limit. Towing and Recovery operations will typically have the same sub-limits as are described in the Commercial Auto policy, above. Recovery operations may also have a sub-limit for wrongful repossessions. The policy includes an aggregate limit and a self-insured retention applicable to each claim.
Optional Drive Other Car coverage is also available for an additional charge.
Healthcare Services
This manuscript policy provides professional liability coverage for businesses that care for the elderly. The policy provides coverage for payments the Insured becomes legally obligated to pay as the result of wrongful acts of the Insured. The policy includes an aggregate limit and a self-insured retention applicable to each claim.
Optional coverages are available for Medical Directors, Administrators, Nurses, Certified Nurse Midwives, Nurse's Aides, and Students or Trainees is available. Optional coverage for sexual abuse claims is also available.
Homeowners and Personal Coverages
This manuscript policy provides liability and property coverage for homeowners. The policy provides coverage for named perils such as fire, vandalism, and falling objects. The policy includes coverage for the dwelling, other structures adjacent to the dwelling, loss of use of the property and for personal property stored at the home. The policy includes an aggregate limit and a self-insured retention applicable to each liability claim. A separate property deductible applies to each property damage claim, and the policy may include an additional wind damage deductible (this is required for Insureds living near a coast line). The policy also includes sub-limits for loss of use, other structures, and personal property coverages.
A dwelling fire policy form is also available. This manuscript policy form provides property coverage for the dwelling, for other adjacent structures, and for personal property. This policy also covers only named perils, and these are limited to fire, lightning and explosion. The policy includes an aggregate limit and a deductible that is applicable to each claim. The policy also includes sub-limits for other structures and for personal property losses.
A mobile homeowner’s policy is also available. This manuscript policy provides coverage for the mobile home, attached permanent structures and equipment, adjacent other structures, loss of use and personal property. The policy provides coverage for named perils similar to the ones covered on the Homeowner’s policy. The policy includes an aggregate limit and a deductible that is applicable to each claim. The policy also includes sub-limits for other structures and for personal property losses.
A manuscript tenant’s policy form is also available to provide property coverage for landlords for their rented property. The policy provides coverage for named perils similar to the ones covered on the Homeowner’s policy. The policy includes coverage for personal property, loss of use and personal liability. The policy includes an aggregate limit and a self-insured retention applicable to each liability claim. A separate property deductible applies to each property damage claim, and the policy may include an additional wind damage deductible (this is required for properties near a coast line). The policy also includes sub-limits for loss of use and personal property coverages.
An animal liability policy is also available. This manuscript policy provides liability coverage for many domestic and exotic pets. The policy will cover bodily injury and property damage claims resulting from the actions of a scheduled, insured animal. Insured animals must be appropriately registered with any local authorities and wear an identification tag. The policy includes an aggregate limit and a self-insured retention that applies to each claim.
All of Prime’s homeowner’s policies exclude loss due to theft or earthquakes. These coverages can be optionally included for an additional charge.
Professional Liability
This manuscript policy provides coverage for payments the Insured becomes legally obligated to pay as the result of wrongful acts of the Insured. The wrongful act in question must result from the insured’s business activities that are specifically listed on the policy. The policy includes an aggregate limit and a self-insured retention applicable to each claim.
