Prime Holdings Insurance Services, Inc.,
founded in 1992, is a holding company for a suite of excess and
surplus lines insurance service companies offering underwriting,
risk management, claims, brokerage and financing services nationwide.
With offices in Salt Lake City and Chicago, Prime wrote more than
$35 million in premiums during 2004 and has been named as one of
Utah’s 100 Fastest Growing Companies for each of
the past seven years. Prime currently holds a Demotech rating of
“A” and an A.M. Best rating of “B++ with a stable
outlook.”
Prime Insurance Company ("Prime"), a new surplus lines insurance company, was funded by a cash infusion of $16 million in May 2006. Prime received an A. M. Best B++ rating after entering into a reinsurance agreement with The Prime Insurance Syndicate, Inc. ("Prime Syndicate"), Prime's newly acquired subsidiary, which brought Prime's capital and surplus to over $33 million. Upon inception, Prime quickly received authorization to provide coverage in Arizona, Colorado, Utah and Virginia. Prime continues to seek further authorizations throughout the United States, and will provide a stable market for hard-to-place risks including homeowners, commercial property, inland marine, healthcare services, commercial liability, garage services and professional liability. The Prime companies have formed a number of strategic relationships with some of the world's premier insurance organizations, including: Lloyd's of London, Gen Re and Swiss Re.

an excess and surplus lines insurance company serving the US market,
Canada and the US Virgin Islands (check state availability).
Over 800 brokers use Prime Syndicate’s products to find solutions
for their hard-to-place risks, including homeowners, commercial
property/inland marine and casualty, recreation, commercial auto
and garage liability/towing.
Insurance Exchange Brokerage Services, Inc. (IEBS) is an in-house insurance brokerage established to work with Prime Syndicate and licensed surplus lines brokers in various states through INEX and Lloyd’s of London.
Evolution Insurance Brokers (EIB) is Prime’s full-service brokerage specializing in excess and surplus lines insurance nationwide. Through EIB, over 2,000 producers find solutions for their hard-to-place risks. EIB provides quick responses to producers’ submissions, offers a wealth of knowledge regarding coverage.

Underwriters Direct Access (UDA) underwrites business for Prime Syndicate and Lloyd’s of London and is structured to provide careful underwriting as a third party administrator.
